Reflection

It’s been a physically, emotionally, and mentally draining week. We had my Mom’s funeral on Sunday in Bangs, Texas. She was 96! Lived a full life!

The funeral service was an awesome celebration of her, which included some Western Swing dancing at the end. 😄 

On the trip home, I needed something light to read…so I turned to Calvin and Hobbes (which, I guess, really isn’t that light 🙃).

Anyway, this is the strip that struck me the most and, to me, sums up so much of what it means to be human. This is all I can muster this week.
